Who is Jason Hall?
Jason Hall is a recording and mixing engineer based out of Nashville, TN. He’s best known for his work with producer Jay Joyce and for working with artists such as Eric Church, Cage The Elephant, Coheed and Cambria, Derek Trucks, The Head and the Heart, Brothers Osborne, Brandy Clark, Halestorm, and Little Big Town.
With a career spanning over 20 years, Jason has many platinum, gold, Grammy-winning, and CMA-winning albums to his credit. He continues to twist genres with his innovative recording style.
Early Life
Originally from Cullman, AL, Jason grew up on Air Force base and learned to play guitar and record on a 4-track recorder in his mother’s garage. In 1996, Jason moved to the Nashville area to attend MTSU. Upon graduation, Jason started his long-time collaboration with producer Jay Joyce, and the pair have gone on to make genre-spanning records for over two decades.
