Some applications may require a greater level of noise reduction than what is offered by a Standard “S” or Single-Wall WhisperRoom. To accommodate this, Standard units have been pre-configured to allow for the installation of a full set of secondary isolation components.
These secondary component packages are referred to as Isolation Enhancement Packages (IEP). A Standard model with an IEP is referred to as an Enhanced “E” model or Double-Wall.
The Standard, Single-Wall typically isolates about 50% within mid-range frequencies, and the Enhanced, Double-Wall typically isolates about 75% within the same mid-range frequencies. WhisperRooms work in conjunction with the host-room walls to further isolate sound.
