Job Description:
Prepare raw materials for the assembly process.
Assemble materials to create finished components.
Pack finished goods into boxes and re-locate boxes to designated area.
Safely operate a variety of woodworking equipment: panel saw, table saw, miter saw, drills, routers, nail guns, and staple guns.
Ability to use a spray gun, utility knife, awl, spline tool, and pressing block.
Safely operate a forklift.
Requirements:
Provide a great level of attention and focus to the given task.
Ability to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
Ability to communicate with supervisors and other employees in basic English.
Wear appropriate PPE as required.
Education/Experience
High School diploma or GED.
A minimum of one year of manufacturing experience is required.
Experience with hand and small power tools.
Upholstery experience is a plus.
