A Quiet Room for Product Testing and Medical Testing

Many companies use WhisperRooms for product testing when a controlled and soundproof environment is desired.

Our modular design and assortment of sizes provide a flexible solution for numerous clients.

When test results matter, WhisperRoom™ sound booths can be used as quiet rooms, medical testing facilities, equipment testing booths, portable laboratories, and other commercial applications for product testing.

Clients such as Motorola, Draper Laboratories, Nokia, Raytheon, Merck, Lear, Royal Technologies, Boeing, and Sony are using WhisperRooms for product testing.

Product Testing

Quality research requires consistent results. Our isolation booths will provide you with an almost soundproof space to conduct audio testing and product research.

Medical Testing

WhisperRooms are used for a host of medical testing applications.

For instance, audiology, psychology, MRI, and various other equipment tests are conducted in WhisperRooms to get accurate data.

Modifications

You can modify and customize your WhisperRoom order. We offer an optional Wide-Access Door which allows wheel-chair access as well as accessibility for large equipment.

Optional Wall Windows provide the necessary visibility to communicate with test subjects inside the WhisperRoom. The optional Caster Plate (CP) provides mobility within the host room and also reduces downward noise transfer.

For situations that may require additional interior space, we offer a 10” Height Extension (HX).

Optional Features to Consider: Ventilation Silencing System (VSS), Caster Plate (CP), Step, Wall Windows, Exterior Fan Silencer (EFS), Multi Jack Panel (MJP).

Note: For product testing, consider a Non-Ventilated model (SNV or ENV).

Acoustic Noise Reduction

Depending on the ambient noise you want to eliminate while conducting tests, WhisperRoom offers the Standard (Single-Wall) model or our Enhanced (Double-Wall) model.

Our Standard model will reduce ambient noise by about 50% (within mid-range frequencies) and the Enhanced model cuts ambient noise by about 75% (within those same mid-range frequencies).

The Auralex® acoustic foam that we supply with each model attaches to the interior walls with Velcro, so you can add or remove foam sheets in order to customize the interior to suit specific recording needs.
